Jovelita Limpiado,a health  worker  in Brgy. Cahumay-humayan Tanauan, Leyte, manages to balance her time between her community services and doing responsibilities in her family is really amazing.

Mrs. Jovelita Limpiado, the Health Worker
of Brgy. Cahumay-humayan, Tanauan, Leyte

As a very responsible mother to her seven children and a wife to her husband, she makes sure that both are given priority and time. Her dedication to serve the people in our community is truly remarkable.

Ate Jove hasn’t completed her education, but still she has the kindness to take care of the young babies in our Barangay. She wakes up in the morning to make sure that all young ones are given attention to; from their schooling, to their health and sometimes even with their spiritual needs. All of these are being taken care of, by Ate Jove.

Her motivations are the families that are in need of health assistance, seeing their children healthy and gaining normal weights makes her happy and fulfilled, that despite all dilemmas she had gone through serving some stubborn clients she said that, “Through good relationship she manages to take all of this with her bare hands”.

Ate Jovie, is monitoring Jevine's  weight.

With this huge task, she makes sure, that her own family is being well attended first, so she could have at least a well-organized flow in her humble service.

This makes me realize that sometime, in the near future if God forbid, I will have my own family, with it, I am inspired by Ate Jovie’s doing, that giving a little heart of kindness goes a long, long way, this is why, our “kabarangays” respect and love her the most.

She is Mrs. Joveleta Limpiado, the beloved Mother of the Cahumay-humayanons, a proud Health Worker of our community.
